Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) About Our Trash Can Cleaning Business & Process

Q: Do I need to be home for your services?

A: No. You do not need to be at home to have your cans cleaned. We clean your cans on your trash pickup day. As long as your cans are empty and are at the curb, we'll clean them on your scheduled date.

Q: Why should I have my trash and recycle bins cleaned?

A: We not only clean your cans, but we disinfect, sanitize, and deodorize them as well. We use water temps of approximately 200 degrees Fahrenheit which rids them 99.9% of bacteria, germs, and viruses. Additionally, we spray down the outside of the can including the parts most often touched such as the lid and handle. Our state-of-the-art system effectively reduces health hazards such as Tuberculosis, Strep, Staph, E-Coli, Salmonella, and Listeria.

Q: Do you clean both trash cans and recycle cans?

A: Yes. We recommend cleaning both, your plan cleans "up to 2 cans", due to bacteria, viruses, and germs that build up on both types of cans. We do not guarantee the scheduling of our cleaning services to line up with recycling weeks for recycling cans.

  • Any additional cans are $10 a piece up to 2 cans, anything past a total of 4 cans is subject to an additional 1-time cleaning charge

  • During an active subscription, clients are not permitted to swap out trash cans as it falls outside the scope of regular maintenance for previously cleaned cans and may result in surcharges on their billing

Q: What areas do you service?

A: 3A Eco Cans provides trash can and dumpster cleaning services in the Northwest Ohio area. Please input your service address to see if your in our service area after clicking any one of our "Get Started" buttons on our home page.

Unfortunately, we do not service any of the Michigan areas as we would need a US DOT # to do so.

Q: How do I start the service?

A: Visit our "SERVICES" section on this website and click "Get Started" to sign up quickly and easily. Sign up process consists of  > Inputting your service address to see if you are in our service area > If so, click the continue button to be forwarded to our request page >  Submit a request with the required info > 3A Eco Cans will send a quote back > Clients approve and pay the 100% deposit > 3A Eco Cans will send a link with all scheduled services.

Q: Are can cleaning services performed same day or the next day?

A: All trash can cleaning services are done the next day after trash pick up but should be done before the afternoon, a reminder of service will be sent to you the day prior.

Q: What is the payment process for garbage can cleaning?

A: All trash can cleanings are a pre-paid service. You will receive a quote after the request is sent in, please approve and pay the 100% deposit, and then you will receive a confirmation email with a link to your service dates.

  • Monthly plans are billed 2 Monthly Services in the first Billing Cycle, then 1 Service every month thereafter auto-billed

  • Bi-monthly plans are billed 1 service every other month, auto-billed after the first invoice

  • Seasonal plans are billed 1 service every 2-3 months at the discretion of 3A Eco Cans

Q: Can I cancel my subscription service?

A: Subscriptions are cancelable at any time!

 

A written email stating the client's name, service location, and reason must be sent to support@3Aecocans.com, but to reactivate your subscription plan after cancellation, a one-time cleaning fee will be incurred.

 

This fee is necessary to reinstate the subscription services and ensure a return to the standard trash can maintenance routine. The purpose of this one-time cleaning is to address any residual buildup from the previous subscription service, as it is not part of the routine maintenance.
